The success of scientists in the genomics arena depends upon support and services specifically designed to foster investigations in genomic science. Purdue University recognizes this need and has a strong commitment to supporting scientific endeavors in genomics.

Three complementary service facilities have been created to serve faculty needs in genomics. These service facilities cover the full range of service needs:

• Data generation and wet laboratory services are available at our core facility;
• Data storage and informatics needs are available at the database facility; and
• Hardware and commercial software are available at the computational genomics facility.
