Agilent Annotation Program

The Agilent Annotation Program (AAP) was designed to provide an easy to manage way of annotating Agilent design files with information from FlyBase data repositories. Matching is done on a 60 base pair sequence against a local repository of FlyBase data.

There are a few requirements for running the program locally:

- Java 1.4.1 or higher.
- 512 Megabytes of Memory for the JVM to run in, or 256 if you are running in single thread mode.
- A Perl/Unix system if you wish to take advantage of the documented methods of automating the FlyBase data retrieval

In addition to running the program locally, which could take a great deal of time, we provide the latest copies of the annotation of our design files on this web site, both for Version 2 and Version 3 design.

Version 3 Annotation (Flybase r4.2) (11-23-2005)
Version 3 ID Sync File (11-23-2005)
Version 3 Annotation (full data set) (11-23-2005)

Version 3 Annotation (03-08-2005)
Version 3 ID Sync File

Version 3 Annotation (02-25-2005)
Version 3 ID Sync File

Version 2 Annotation (12-13-2004)
Version 2 ID Sync File

If you would like to run the AAP locally, you will need to download and uncompress the file that is linked following this paragraph. It will expand into it's own directory, and contains a few README files as well as the runtime documentation that is provided from this web site.
