Sequencing LTL
Bring us your DNA, a primer and we return a sequence read to you.
More details available here: LTL. Currently $9.20/sample or $5.60/sample
for Purdue Cancer Center Members.
Sequencing HTL
We sequence from 96-well or 384-well plates of glycerol stocks.
Contact us if you have a large job. These prices include minipreps,
sequencing reactions, clean-ups, runs on our ABI 3730XL sequencers
and some data analysis (e.g. blast searches or sequence assembly.)
| Cost | Cost/read | Description |
|---|---|---|
| $313.80 | $3.27 | 96-well plate 1 primer = 96 reads |
| $476.70 | $2.48 | 96-well plate 2 primers = 192 reads |
| $434.60 | $1.13 | 384-well plate 1 primer = 384 reads |
| $776.90 | $1.01 | 384-well plate 2 primers = 768 reads |
Bacterial Filter Arrays
$264.40 for four 22x22 cm filters. Usually 18,432 glycerol stocks
(in 384-well plates) are spotted per filter. We incubate the filters,
lyse the resulting bacterial colonies and crosslink their DNA to the
filter using UV irradiation.
Colony Picking
Bring your titred transformation mix. We plate the bacteria on
appropriate media and pick the resulting colonies into 384-well
plate glycerol stocks. $10.60/plate of glycerol stocks requested.
Library Duplication
Replicate a library of glycerol stocks in 96 or 384 well plates.
If your library is in Genetix 384-well plates the charge is $5/plate
duplicated. If your library is not in Genetix 384-well plates we have
to use a more cumbersome method of duplication for which the charge is
$6.70/plate.
Library Rearray
Bring your library of glycerol stocks in 384-well plates (source plates)
and a list of the plate and wells you wish to be placed in new destination
plates. In most cases a fresh replicate of the library must be used for
good results. Charge is $7.60 for each source and destination plate. For
example, rearraying the contents of 9 source plates into 1 destination
plate would cost $76.
Shotgun Library Construction
Bring us DNA, we mechanically shear it to a specified size-range,
blunt the resulting fragments and clone into the Invitrogen vector,
pCR4TOPO, and electroporate into DH10B host cells. Charge is $251.50,
not including cost of colony picking.
Affymetrix GeneChips
Bring us total RNA and the Affy chip you want run. For single-cycle
labeling protocol (works best with >5000 ng of total RNA, 500 ng minimum)
the charge is $249.10. For two-cycle labeling (10 ng minimum total RNA)
the charge is $313.10. More information here:
