In June, 2006 we did a major overhaul of the LTL submission process. Our previous method was a cumbersome 7 web-page process:
1. Select profile
2. Enter number of samples and your Purdue account number. Choose if to enter sample manually or via a spreadsheet.
3. The Purdue account number was checked for validity.
4. Enter the samples.
5. Samples were displayed
6. Optionally, the samples could be edited.
7. The final “signature” page was displayed.
We have simplified this to a 3 page process:
The other major change that you will probably notice is a display of the cost per reaction, the total cost and your account number verification. None of this is set in stone and so if there is a mistake in the display (e.g., the display indicates that you are being charged the “on-campus” rate when you should actually be charged the “cancer center” rate) then we can correct it later. Please let us know if you think you are being charged an incorrect amount so that we can update our database of known Purdue account numbers.
